I love the line “…peeling painted passion…” Well done!
Thanks.. glad I had the ink to get it done.. ..smiles..
button fly shadow…nice…smiles.
I LOVE this, Michael. ♥
Delightful image, truly splendidly done in the vividness of this haiku…a passionate telling for the season and the lovers therein.
At first I thoughts words alone were sufficient, but the pictures do help painting the words. Thanks for your kind comments.
Judy was Becky’s older sister the senior homecoming queen, valedictorian who dated the quarterback. I still remember the day she said hello to this freshman.
Thanks for the comment. Judy was one year ahead of me and when she started college.. well.. So the stories go, so did our 3 year relationship.. It’s amazing how memories from that far back creep into our consciousness. ..smiles..
Your haiku response to the photo is just perfect – your poetic eye saw all.
Thank you Kerry. If you get a chance go read “Pete”. That pic inspired me!
Like this! 🙂 The illustration is perfect, which makes me ask what came first the pic or the poem. Nice post.
The picture was the cue.
I love Haiku – this one is really beautiful 😀 xx
Haiku is my favorite form.
I love it. Especially the last line.
