The moon’s shadow reflects the Blackness forming in my heart.
The tempo of my heels attempts to sooth my rage of discontent,
On the cold unyielding cement.
The night air cooling the flush of my skin radiating
Desperation, exasperation and perspiration.
Struggling between betrayal, anger and tears.
What has come up on me is my greatest fear;
Your love for another is made perfectly clear.
You left our unmade bed and a broken condom behind,
On a sweat soaked pillow that used to be mine.
