This Then That Revisit

Can’t get no satisfaction
Not locking in on anything
Adrift on the wind caprice
Fourth line slips; like a greased pig

I started to change myself talk
Gaining new strength with every word
This is truly who I am today
I don’t need another cure

Versifying verifies our voice
The voice that holds us up high
As long as we write down our words
They’ll define who we are and we’ll not die

Losing Your Fear

She flew past my wide open eyes
I grabbed her train in the clear blue sky
Hanging on for my life circling wide
Starting her descent I thought I would die

Losing your fear to fly like you did
Jumping from that height I would have shit
But you overcame your fear and it melted
Knowing your OK I’m ready to get belted

Continuance

Reblogged from Michael's Lair:

Purple, blue and green
Bruises not dreams
You barely see
Call the police

Causing you pain
Your black blood stains
You've seen his gun
Call nine one one

You love him still
One day he'll kill
Son got the gun
Shot dad for fun

Continuance Revisited

Cold Again

Her side is cold again
Asking aloud what about us
I’ve have always been here
I did it this time by turning your head away

Nobody lives forever on the blue
Smaller than a grain of sand’s molecules
Single molecules one million times smaller than a grain
Tumbling in the abyss being pushed and pulled

The walls were cold and very white
Not unlike the foam from her ski do’s wake
I caused her to look away and she hit a boat
And her side will again be cold

Echoes of Life

The echoes, The echoes fade away
Like the sun, moon and the stars never stay
With relationships they seem to fade too
What’s a person going to do, to do

Louder I scream, stones underfoot stir
Causing my heart beat to echo for sure
Being close to the edge I back away
Stirring up more echoes some other day, day

Elephant Stepping on Toes

The angels were called last night
To escort a friend that died
His pain is finally gone and it’s
Hard to be happy asking why

Some places celebrate their death
Mourning is selfish, and doesn’t help
We want to hang on to them but
Hoping our pain and loss are shelved

Dusty Shelves

I’ve been given a gift that will help many people
I was sitting alone and disturbed under the steeple
A lady came down and she sat down next to me
I greeted her with my best smile and she tapped my knee

All of sudden I was covered with electric volts
I jumped and almost fell but she steadied me from the jolt
She said,”Sit down now please and let me explain myself
Earlier I felt like an old book from a dusty shelve”

Next I expected Rod Sterling to walk out unfettered
But I encouraged her to tell me because I felt better
When she started explaining her countenance sparkled
“The pastor said some were receiving tools for the battle”

The people are going to spread peace a spirit of love
Breaking down the self made barriers that will bring more doves
The doves will rest on their arms for a moment
Leaving a pinch of peace and becoming His servant

The doves were spreading peace all over the land
As a huge timer would pass only a single piece of sand
Most of the people took the blessing and flew with the doves
Spreading peace for everyone with spirit of love
